Key Ingredients in Focus
Every ingredient in Porrada was chosen based on peer-reviewed research, with dosages that match what's been clinically studied. Not underdosed for marketing. Explore each ingredient below to see exactly what's in the formula and why it's there.
Lion's Mane Extract
1000mgSupports cognitive performance, working memory, and reaction time. The exact dose used in a 2023 peer-reviewed clinical trial that improved attention and processing speed in healthy adults. Sharper thinking when scrambles get chaotic.
CDP Choline
500mgBoosts production of acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter responsible for focus and learning. Helps you absorb new techniques faster and stay locked in through long training sessions.
Rhodiola Rosea
300mgA clinically studied adaptogen that lowers perceived effort during exercise and improves reaction time. The mental edge that makes hard rounds feel easier without the crash of stimulants.
L-Tyrosine
500mgA precursor to dopamine and adrenaline that helps maintain mental performance under stress and fatigue. Keeps your decision-making sharp deep into hard rolls when your brain wants to coast.
L-Theanine
200mgPromotes calm focus without sedation. Smooths out the intensity of the other ingredients so you stay locked in without feeling wired or jittery on the mats.
Vitamin B6 and B12
5mg and 250mcgThe bioavailable form of B12 that supports energy production, brain function, and nervous system health. Especially important for athletes pushing high training volumes. B6 is an essential cofactor for dopamine, serotonin, and other neurotransmitter synthesis. Supports mood, focus, and the cognitive benefits of the other ingredients in the stack.
Folate
667mcgThe active form of folate that supports neurotransmitter production and methylation processes critical for cognitive function. Works alongside B12 for sustained mental energy.

16 Human Trials on Exercise Performance
In 2023, a review published in the British Journal of Nutrition analyzed 16 human trials on Rhodiola Rosea. They confirmed it may increase stamina during exercise.
As well, in 2014, a double-blind, crossover, placebo-controlled study was conducted on 10 men. The participants who took Rhodiola Rosea had much less perceived effort of exercise, despite being at the same VO2 Max level for 30 minutes.

Increased Exercise Performance and Lower RPE
In 2023, a double-blind pilot study published in Nutrients tested 41 healthy adults aged 18 to 45. Sixty minutes after dosing, the Lion's Mane group showed around a 7% improvement in reaction time, while the placebo group showed no improvement at all.
A second 2023 study in Nutrients used 1 gram of Lion's Mane fruiting body extract on 40 healthy adults and found improved reaction time on a go/no-go test along with gradual improvements in memory and complex attention.
The Docherty study also tracked mental state over 28 days, with the Lion's Mane group showing roughly a 20% reduction in stress scores by day 29.

Sustained Attention and Stronger Memory
In 2012, McGlade and colleagues tested 60 healthy adults over 28 days using the Continuous Performance Test II. Participants took 500mg, 250mg, or a placebo. The study found significantly better ability to produce correct responses, with the 500mg group producing the best results.
A 2021 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial by Nakazaki et al. followed 100 healthy adults taking 500mg daily for 12 weeks. The citicoline group showed substantially better memory retention on the Paired Associate test.
A 2014 trial found citicoline improved sustained attention, mental effort, and reaction times, though it was tested alongside caffeine.

Mental Performance Under Stress and Fatigue
In 1995, researchers at the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory tested 20 US Marines through a night of sleep deprivation under constant 70-decibel noise. On a cursor-tracking accuracy test, the placebo group's scores plummeted while the L-Tyrosine group declined far less dramatically.
The Royal Netherlands Army ran a similar test in 1999 on cadets through a week-long combat training course with sustained operations, sleep loss, and heavy physical demands. The L-Tyrosine group showed superior psychomotor performance and enhanced memory under real conditions rather than simulated ones.
A 2015 study also found L-Tyrosine reduced task-switching costs, meaning participants moved between tasks more efficiently.

Calm Focus Without the Crash
A 2025 systematic review in Sleep Medicine Reviews pooled 19 randomized controlled trials covering 897 participants. It found significant improvements in how long it takes to fall asleep across 10 studies, daytime grogginess across 9, and overall sleep quality across 12.
A 2019 randomized, placebo-controlled crossover trial in Nutrients gave 30 healthy adults 200mg daily for four weeks. Anxiety scores decreased significantly, sleep quality improved, and researchers observed unexpected gains in verbal fluency and executive function.
A 2011 study found 200mg decreased heart rate and increased alpha brain activity, the signature of relaxed alertness, with no drowsiness.

Neurotransmitter Production and Nerve Health
B6 is involved in over 100 enzyme reactions in the body, including the synthesis of serotonin and dopamine, the neurotransmitters that regulate mood, focus, and reward.
B12 builds and repairs the myelin sheath, the protective coating around your nerves. Without it, nerves misfire or slow down. It is also required for DNA synthesis and converting food into usable energy.
Together they break down homocysteine, an amino acid linked to cognitive decline at elevated levels. B12 builds the pathways and B6 sends signals through them. Porrada uses methylcobalamin, the bioactive form.

helps you dominate the mats
When The Round Gets Real, Stay Sharp
The difference between winning a scramble and losing it usually comes down to fractions of a second. Porrada Focus is built to support reaction time, working memory, and composure exactly when those things matter most. So when the round gets chaotic, your brain is still ahead of it.

What We’re Launching
The First Brain Performance Drink For Jiu Jitsu Athletes
BJJ is a chess match at full speed. Your reaction time, working memory, and ability to think through scrambles separate the people who improve from the people who plateau. Porrada is the first formula built specifically for what your brain does on the mats.

A Sharper Version Of You On The Mats
Faster Reaction Time
Make reads and respond before your opponent finishes the entry. Clinically studied ingredients designed to support neural processing speed.
Sustained Focus
Stay locked in from the first warmup roll to the final round. No mid-session drop-off when fatigue sets in.
Calm Composure
Handle pressure without panicking. L-Theanine smooths intensity so you think clearly under stress.
Better Skill Retention
Absorb new techniques faster and remember them next session. Choline supports the brain mechanisms behind learning.
